Katrina (Kat) Reynolds is a Vancouver based actor, writer, director and producer. She started out in musical theatre performing on many stages across North America including a stint on Broadway. She now focuses primarily on film and television and has gained a long list of credits as an actor working in network TV series and Hallmark films and as a creator and filmmaker directing, writing and producing in the indie film space with a focus on tipping the scales to include more gender diversity behind the camera.
Her short film called A Day In The (After)Life of Diane Staples which she co-wrote, produced, and directed in and for which they built a 100% female/non binary cast and crew of 16 film creatives won Best Igniter Film at The Canadian Film Festival Igniter Showcase, Best International Film at its US premier at the Broad Humour Film Festival in LA and The Warner Bros Discovery Access Canada Filmmaker Award.
Kat has a number of projects in development including her series called ‘Get It Together!’ that began its journey in 2024 with the IPF and CMF development funding. She's also got a new short film called 'So Happy For You' that is just now entering the festival circuit and is also a proof of concept for a new series. And as a member of the 2025 Women In The Director's Chair: Career Advancement Module, she is currently developing her first feature called 'City In Colour'!
