Katrina (Kat) Reynolds is an actor, writer, director and producer who’s honoured for the opportunity to tell stories for a living on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. 

Kat’s love for storytelling began on stage. She’s performed on Broadway, at The Stratford Festival, The Shaw Festival, The Charlottetown Festival, The Vancouver Arts Club, and many other stages across Canada and the USA.

As an actor for film and television, you can catch her in shows such a Alert (Fox), Fire Country(CBS), Family Law(CW), Schmigadoon(Apple TV), You Me Her (eOne), The Detour (TBS) and often as the bubbly bestie in a whole bunch of your favourite Hallmark Christmas Movies.

You can now find Kat on the other side of the camera, writing, directing and producing a variety of indie film projects. As an emerging multi hyphenate film creative, Kat has been so fortunate to have the support of the Vancouver independent film community and incredible mentorship programs such as the 2023 cohort of the GEMS Emerging TV Producers Program, and the 2024 cohort of the VIFF Catalyst Program.

Kat is a true believer in the importance of storytelling through film and is forever in awe of the spirit and collaborative magic of independent filmmaking. It’s Kat's hope that the Booked & Busy Community will serve as a reflection and extension of this magic as we navigate this uniquely chaotic and beautifully creative indie film industry together.
